I have been on an unpredictable, often changing personal journey to get to this place in which I get to work with others as a therapist. For my Bachelors degree I felt that I wanted to help people on a larger scale through the work of public affairs, and ultimately declared non-profit leadership as a minor in hopes of assisting in a grassroots movement in the greater Seattle area. Ultimately, it was in working with youth as a mentor that I realized I wanted to work with people one on one so I went back to school. It was through my personal therapy, while pursuing my degree, that I was able to identify how my interests, and needs could provide direction for my life and my work.
Two common threads throughout my life have been helping people (and animals), and responding to my thirst for knowledge. The way I incorporate those into my work is by continuously showing up for clients to process, feel, and commit to something better for their lives, as well as my continued efforts to stay educated in the developing practices in the field of psychology so as to assist people on their journey to healing.

I was born and raised in Seattle Washington. My mother was born in Peru and my father is of Austrian descent (born in California). I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a graduate degree from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology and a Bachelors from Seattle University. The emphasis in my masters program was to focus on working with individuals through the lens of trauma and abuse, psychodynamic psychotherapy, attachment and object relations theory. My passion for the work is to help people identify where in their life they have witnessed love and loss. My work is rooted in how to heal from connecting to and redefining our wounds in the context of relationship.
